- Season 2 filming starts this week as well, Kristyn Ritter rumored to be in NYC for filming on series
- Matthew Lillard joins cast in unspecified role
The Punisher (10:15)
- Will be getting his own Special Presentation
- Co-written by John Bernthal and Reinaldo Marcus Green (We Own This City), who is also directing
  - Shared image of The Punisher #53 in a storyline called “The Final Days”

- Season 3 confirmed, likely a yearly release

- Kathleen Kennedy is NOT retiring, despite rumors this week
  - Lucasfilm/Disney probably always looking at a succession plan for large franchises, including Marvel, Pixar, etc
- The Mandalorian and Grogu movie next, Shawn Levy’s standalone Star Wars film is the one after
- Simon Kinburg working on the next Star Wars trilogy
  - Previously worked on Rebels show
  - Will be after the last trilogy of films, most likely not connected to Skywalker Saga
DCU (50:45)
- James Gunn and Peter Safran held a private press event last week
- Provides transparency into process and studio, but has painted a picture of two creatives who might be in over their heads
  - Sometimes one thought something was announced but it was more ‘online’
  - Gunn said he is "steadfast in making sure that each of these projects works as a standalone project, so that you can go see 'Superman' and you can watch 'Lanterns' without having to see both of them." Safran somewhat contradicted that by stating that DC Studios was relaunched to create a shared universe because "people want to see these iconic characters interacting."

- Regarding Robert Pattinson being the DCU’s Dark Knight: "It's certainly not the plan. Like it's certainly not the plan."

  - Now claiming to have reshot more scenes
- “Best source” inside says people watching Superman screenings think it is terrible

- Daniel Craig was an “idea” but they never met with him
Teen Titans (1:04:20)
- Officially happening with Ana Nogueira (Supergirl) writing the script
  - "She’s fiddling with that now, but it’s definitely not a finished script."
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (1:04:55)
- Halfway through production as of this week
Deathstroke/Bane (1:05:20)
- Rumored Matthew Orton was working on this film but he is working on "something" for them
- Safran said it's only "kind of like" a Deathstroke/Bane story
Lanterns (1:06:25)
- Has started filming and shown first image of DCU's Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) and John Stewart (Aaron Pierre)
- Earth grounded, and Green Lantern ring shown
  - Seems opposite of CGI fueled Ryan Reynolds movie
Dynamic Duo (1:08:05)
- Animated feature using a mix of Puppets and CGI will revolve around 2 Robins
- Being written by Matt Aldrich (Coco) and called it "a perfect on-ramp for the family audiences into the world of Gotham."
  - Gunn revealed, "There might be a way it might fit into the DCU. I would love for this animated puppet movie to be a part of the DCU. That's really appealing to me, but the story is unique, and so it may not work within our universe."
My Adventures with Green Lantern (1:09:45)
- Animated series announced with title treatment
- "My Adventures with Green Lantern will follow high school student Jessica Cruz, who has her life upended when a Green Lantern Power Ring falls from the sky and chooses Cruz to be its champion. Things get even worse when more debris from the Lanterns’ ancient space war arrives - along with their alien foes."
Starfire (1:10:35)
- Animated series announced for DC with title treatment
- "Follows her adventures after she uses an ancient spaceship she discovers on her home planet of Tamaran to escape her planet and explore the stars. Along the way, she’ll meet space biker Crush, plant-loving Fern, and the magical Princess Amethyst of Gemworld and, together, they will uncover the deepest reaches of the DC universe, save Space Dolphins, surf technicolor nebulas, and boldly soar into the unknown."
DC Super Powers (1:13:25)
- Animated series announced for DC with title treatment
- Takes place in the Alliance School for Heroes and follows Lightning, Flash, Plastic Man, Aquagirl, Green Lantern, and Terra as they attempt "to level up their powers under the supervision of Principal Martian Manhunter."
Krypto (1:16:15)
- They're working on four seasonal Krypto the Superdog shorts set in the DCU with the first set to drop this September/October.
- Safran added, "It’s definitely the Krypto you fall in love with in Superman. He’s a terrible dog."
Wonder Woman (game) (1:22:30)
- Gunn and Safran are heavily involved in video games at WB as well it seems
  - “sit with literally the guys that run the studios underneath JB, whether it's NetherRealm or whether it's Rocksteady, sit with them and talk about characters and stories that we're interested in and that they're interested in.”
- WB Games has canceled the upcoming Wonder Woman game, and closed 3 studios: Monolith Productions, Player First Games, and WB San Diego.
  - Includes studio who worked on Multiversus, which will no longer get updates
  - Monolith made the award winning Mordor games and their Nemesis system, locked behind Patent till 2036 still
